Spring Camping 2007

Its that time of the year again
when flowers bloom, the early morning dawn is
filled with bird's songs, and
the weather starts to warm up.

What a nice time to enjoy the outdoors
and be in harmony with nature.

I took Justin, Trevor and Kristen to Camping at Bobcat Meadow,
a Campground near the town of Alpine, well within the Cleveland National Forest,
about 55 miles east of San Diego.

As ever, the three kids enjoyed the outdoors.
We climbed a National Forest Tower lookout, and greet the watchtower person, and enjoy the vast open space of mountains below.

We rode a four wheel drive vehicle and went off-road riding at 8 O-clock at night.
What a thrill for me and the kids.

It felt like a short camping trip. Next time we'll make it a longer experience.

Life and Love
-Julius, 29MAY2007

Quote of the day:

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned,

the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme,

and some stories don't have a clear beginning,

middle, and end.

Life is about not knowing, having to change,

taking the moment and making the best of it,

without knowing what's going to happen next.

Delicious ambiguity".

-Gilda Radner, 1946-1989

I used to think life and love

as that of a perfect storybook,

a nice beginning, an everlasting love

and then a grandeur end.

Then reality hits, life after

all is not perfect. Somewhere along the way

change happens whether good or bad.

An answer is not always ready.

Just make the best of what you have.

Whatever the outcome is, adopt to

change is a necessity.

I tell you, its not easy to adopt.

You just have to do your best, pray to God

for guidance, and hope that tomorrow will

be better than today.

Grace from God, and the love of life will get you there though. It will be your source of strength and inspiration.
