At the Beach with Manong Fidel and family 2007
Delayed entry:
June 24, 2007
At the Beach with Manong Fidel and family 2007
Manong Fidel, Ate Marivic, Francis and Martin
recently visited San Diego. They drove down all the
way from Sacramento the night before.
I took the three kids together with Manong Fidel and family
to Torrey Pines State Beach one hot, sun searing afternoon
for a picnic.
We visited Grandma Sanay and Uncle Ariong in National City afterwards
to see how Grandma is doing lately. Incdentally, Cora and kids are in town
so we had did lots of catching up.

Summer 2007 Camping with Cora
Summer 2007
Justin, Trevor, Kristen, and I spent the fourth of July (U.S. Independence Day), July 5th with Cora and her kids Julianna, Christiana, and Micah at San Onofre State Beach. San Onofre Beach is situated near the Nuclear Power plant, right at the border of San Diego and Orange County along the coast.
What a delight for the kids to spend time and get to know each other. The beach was great, with hardly any beach combers competing for space, just an occasional surfer or coastal fishers in sight.

Camp was right along the edge of the park, with Coastal train passing by, or cars zooming up down Highway 5 was somewhat of a nuisance. Otherwise it was a great camp, with various camp recipes cooked up by me and Cora: Lemon Garlic Shrimp, Hish Kebobs, Corn on the cobs, Citrus flavored chicken on the menu.
Thanks Cora for a great time. let's plan something out for Spring or Summer 2008, when you come down San Diego for your Summer vacation again. This time, let's plan it when Henry's
in town, so it would be a great family camp.

Dear Justin,
-from Daddy, 29June2007
Dear Justin,
I just want you to know that dad
is so proud of you. How you walk in
stage and held yourself up to receive
an Award and be part of the honor roll.
I know you, Trevor and Kristen
have been through a lot lately.
The nights you call me at night
to say good night, the days you tell
me how you feel so lonely, and our occasional online
voice chats and play pool on Yahoo Messenger.
I'm so proud of how you pulled yourself
up. Life has not been easy on you.
I encouraged you to work hard in school
and you kept at it.
Life will go on. I'm happy because I have a son
like you. I Love you son.
